We managed to sit with the chef to talk to him about his recipes as well.
A room has also been set aside as a prayer room on the same level as Kintamani Indonesian Restaurant, making it easier for Muslim patrons of the restaurant to enjoy the dinner buffet and pray as well.
2. Time for Thai
It’s always Thai-rrific to enjoy a bowl of piping hot Tom Yam soup along with a plate of Thai basil chicken. But nothing completes a Thai meal more than a decent piece of fish cooked Thai-style to be shared with your family. Make time for them so you can have Time for Thai!
3. The Great Mischief

The Blackhole Group opens another cafe with an exciting Catalan-inspired menu featuring savoury tapas and mocktails. Be sure to complete your meal with some churros and only then you can say ‘Mischief Managed!’
Head to Santap for a brunch menu that is one of a kind, featuring all your favourite trendy foods like acai smoothie bowls, avocado frittata and rice bowls. Just down the road from The Great Mischief, be sure to try this new addition to The Black Hole Group. Bask in their alfresco dining which is great for both in the mornings and in the evenings.
5. 99 Bistro
Enjoy Singapore’s only halal Bamboo Biryani at 99 Bistro, located at Lifelong Institute Singapore near Paya Lebar MRT. Australian tender whole lamb shank with interesting combination of spices from Karachi, dum cooked with long grain basmati rice, clarified butter, fresh mint in a carefully chosen Bamboo Trunk from India is what the Bamboo Biryani is all about.

One of the first cafes to join the cafe scene in Singapore, Working Title now offers a wide array of brunch menu, and interesting hearty burgers and sides like the Ribena Wings to regulars in the area. Plus it’s one of the cafes with great coffee too!
You don’t have to travel far to try halal Mexican food such as tacos and quesadillas infused with local flavours such as the Duck ala Mango. If you’d rather have something heavy, the burritos will surely keep you full for at least half a day.
