Did you know that the classic brownie has a sister? We didn’t either! Chef Mimi’s blondie recipe pack is set to get you excited about baking. The crinkled golden crust hides a moist and decadent brown sugared cake with surprise bites of nuts and butterscotch chips. We assure you that once you go blond, the blondies will be gone!

Serves 25 Slices

Ingredients

  • 230 Grams Unsalted Butter
  • 435 Grams Brown Sugar
  • 230 Grams All Purpose Flour
  • 10 Grams Baking Powder
  • 120 Grams Chocolate Couverture
  • 2 Pieces Whole Eggs
  • 1 Piece Egg Yolk
  • 4 Grams Salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 170 degree celsius.
  2. Mix butter with brown sugar till smooth.
  3. Add eggs and yolk.
  4. Sift salt, all purpose flour, baking powder into the mixture.
  5. Mix until all ingredients are fully incorporated.
  6. Add the chocolate buttons.
  7. Line grease a 8×8 tray with baking parchment.
  8. Pour the mixture onto the baking tray.
  9. Bake for approximately 40 mins.
  10. Cool the blondie on a wire rack.
  11. Cut the blondie into squares.
  12. Serve with ice cream or on its own.
