Dupe your tastebuds into thinking you’re eating super healthy! Our fish tacos are actually great comfort food and fantastic for parties when you’re gathering family and friends around the television. Light, crispy fish in a superb batter, topped with refreshing zesty flavors of the salad, all wrapped in a hearty wholemeal tortilla wrap.

Serves 4

Ingredients

Fish Fillet

  • 5 Pieces Wrap
  • 4 Pieces Sutchi Fillet
  • 2 Tablespoon Chilli Powder
  • 4 Tablespoon Plain Flour
  • 1 Cup Ginger Ale

Pineapple Salsa

  • 2 Slices Pineapples
  • 1 Whole Green Pepper
  • 2 Whole Tomato
  • 1 Piece Fresh Chillies
  • 4 Tablespoon Fresh Coriander
  • 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 4 Limes Lime Juice
  • 1 Tablespoon Sugar

Yoghurt Relish

  • 1 Cup Yoghurt
  • 4 Tablespoon Fresh Coriander
  • 1 Piece Fresh Chillies

Instructions

FIsh Fillet

  1. Wash and cut fish fillet into strips.
  2. Mix flour, salt and pepper in a medium bowl.
  3. Add the ginger ale gradually while whisking.
  4. Set aside and let the batter rest for 15 minutes before using.
  5. Heat oil in a frying pan.
  6. Coat the fish fillets generously with the batter and fry for 3 to 4 minutes, or until golden brown.

Pineapple Salsa

  1. Mix olive oil, lime juice, sugar, salt and pepper together.
  2. Chop pineapples, green bell pepper and tomatoes into chunks.
  3. Add the fruits to the dressing and mix well. Set aside.

Yoghurt Relish

  1. Mix yoghurt, mint, chilli, salt and pepper together in a separate bowl. Mix well.
  2. Heat wrap on a dry pan for about a minute each.
  3. Assemble fish tacos by filling the wrap with fish fillets, pineapple salsa and yoghurt relish. Enjoy!
