- 240 Grams Unsalted Butter
- 240 Grams White Sugar
- 240 Grams Brown Sugar
- 2 Pieces Eggs
- 2 Teaspoon Vanilla Essence
- 720 Grams Plain Flour
- 1 Teaspoon Baking Soda
- 480 Grams Chocolate Chips
- 240 Grams Almonds optional
PREHEAT oven to 350 degrees celsius.
CUT butter into cubes at room temperature.
MIX butter with brown sugar, caster sugar and butter in the mixer at low speed, and then slowly bring the speed up.
COMBINE the items well, until creamy and fluffy.
ADD vanilla essence and continue to mix until butter softens.
ADD in 3 eggs (room temperature) into the mixture and mix well.
MIX together flour, baking soda and salt in a separate bowl and mix well.
COMBINE the flour mixture and the creamy butter mixture in the mixture on low speed until well combined.
ADD in chocolate chips.
SCOOP the batter in balls and place them on a baking pan in neat rows.
BAKE for 10 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
