Wanton noodles recipe halalfoodhunt

We know how difficult it is to find halal alternatives to your favourite Chinese dish. This wanton noodles recipe will make you realise how easy it is to master Chinese cuisine. Grab a pack and satisfy your wanton noodles craving!

Serves 4

Ingredients

  • 1 Pack Egg Noodle
  • 1 Pack Chye Sim
  • 2 Piece Shallots
  • 0.5 Teaspoon Light Soy Sauce
  • 1 Teaspoon Oyster Sauce
  • 1 Teaspoon Dark Soy Sauce
  • 1 Tablespoon Grind Dried Red Chilli Paste
  • 1 Pack Instant Wanton

Instructions

Preparation

  1. BOIL water with a little bit of salt.
  2. COOK noodles in the boiled water according to instructions and set aside.
  3. DRAIN the noodles and set aside.
  4. BLANCH Chye Sim in the same pot of water.
  5. DRAIN Chye Sim and set aside.
  6. PREPARE Wanton as per package instructions.

Cooking

  1. HEAT oil in a pan.
  2. SAUTÉ shallots in the pan until fragrant.
  3. ADD grinded chillies, oyster sauce, dark soy sauce and light soy sauce.
  4. FRY until the mixture is thick.
  5. ADD in noodles into the pan.
  6. SERVE the noodles with Chye Sim and Wanton on a plate.
