Move over canned spaghetti sauce! Homemade Bolognese sauce is always a better option. Tangy, sweet and a burst of Italian flavors will burst in your mouth with this traditional Bolognese sauce.

Serves 4

Ingredients

  • 3 Big Red Onions
  • 4 Cloves Garlic
  • 800 Grams Canned Tomatoes
  • 200 Grams Tomato Puree
  • 2 Tablespoon Italian Dressing
  • 1 Cube Chicken Stock
  • 500 Grams Minced Beef
  • 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 Pack Instant Pasta

Instructions

  1. CHOP onion and garlic.
  2. HEAT up oil in a pot.
  3. SAUTÉ onion first, followed by garlic.
  4. ADD minced meat into the pot and stir until cooked.
  5. ADD in the chopped tomatoes.
  6. ADD in the tomato puree and italian seasoning.
  7. ADD in chicken stock, salt and pepper to taste.
  8. APPLY low heat and allow the sauce to simmer for about an hour.
  9. COOK pasta as per packet instructions.
  10. SERVE sauce with pasta and grated cheese (*optional)
